• It is recommended that all applicants prepare two performance pieces in contrasting styles.  Each piece should be 3-5 minutes in duration. 

 

• First round submission - no backing track

​• Four finalists will be selected to proceed to the second round and participate in the online Audience Choice Award.  The entry for the ACA will be the second round performance video.

 

• Second round submission - in a contrasting style from the first round entry, with a backing track

 

• The performance video for the second round must be a new piece.  The first performance video cannot be resubmitted for the final round. We therefore recommend that participants work on two pieces when preparing for the competition.  

 

• All performance videos must be unedited.Any video submission that has been edited in any form will be disqualified

 

• The winners may be invited to perform on the NMS Bahamian Showcase concert in November 2024 at Baha Mar.
